Hi there! I’m Candice, and I’m a Marion girl with a love of gardening and growing food and being crafty (oh, also, procrastination). My husband and I are city dwellers trying to do what we can to live a more sustainable life. We’re far from experts. In fact, the running joke around this house is that each year we fail a little better. Our garden gets overrun with weeds, we make plans that just don’t work out as we hoped, and sometimes life just gets in the way. We’re low-budget and sometimes that means trying a ‘cheap’ option once or twice before we realize we need to fork up a bit more money for something better-made. We live and we learn and we fail sometimes, and apparently we’re gluttons for punishment because we keep trying again.
